Dear experienced visajourney's members,

My fiance, he petitioned I-129F for me. He sent the package in early December and about 2 weeks after he got a receipt that we both believe to be the NOA-1. Now is almost April and we haven't heard anything about the petition. We even sign up for the case update on the USCIS.gov but we still haven't gotten any news or update. I just checked now that on the case file on USCIS.gov that our file's last updated is on Dec 21, 2011.

I am so afraid that we would get denied for the petition, but come to think about it, we did everything so nice in order and checked and through, so I really don't see why we would get denied. But I am really scared!!! I mean, what are the chances that we would be denied? how big is the percentage of that incident? what can we do?

Thanks guys!!!

Breathe IN and breathe OUT! Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between April 19, 2012 and May 7, 2012*.

While this information is only an estimate, it gives you an idea of when to expect your NOA2 with the petition approval.

You have an NOA1 and you are well within the time for processing. I do not think there is any problem. The online system is inaccurate enough to be a joke. Our case says "initial review" and Alla takes the oath of citizenship in 12 days
