Nothing hoses the server quite like Speedy Gonzalez looking for any thread opportunity to post "si man" - ad nauseum.

What point would the -1 serve? If someone is giving bad information, someone will come along and correct them. Considering there's a topic on "Politics & Religion," I'm sure the lion's share of the -1's would be there because it's easier to be anonymous than to state an opinion.

That's OK, RJ; you'll slither away again soon enough, si you man.

I would love to see the -1 in the upper (actually important) forums. It happens quite often that someone posts information that is blatantly wrong. It would nice to be able to disagree (-1) without having to get into the argument that would soon follow.

I always liked the -1 in the uppers for people who gave good info but were rude about it.

I'm already pretty much gone, Speedy. VJ doesn't bring out the best in me. Kind of like lying down with dogs and getting fleas.

The -1 was here on the site at one time. It was abused heavily. Some people here don't like others so they -minus something just because of personality. If the -minus could serve the purpose of letting others know that the advice was bad and not to show them you hated them then bring it back. I know this site well and the abuse of the -minus is going to be the norm.

I've just said this in the other thread, but here's my two cents:

  • Only available in the upper fora
  • A very low daily cap on the number of -1s (2-3 tops)

The +1 is abused in the lower fora. People clamber on to protect those they support, even if they're acting like an a$$.
