One post violating the TOS has been removed. Acceptable portion has been returned below. Please keep things civil. Thank you.

To the OP, this is one of the rare times that I must admit that a good immigration should be involved at some point.

The fact that the crimes were committed as a juvenile 10 years ago may weigh in favorably as long as he has a spotless record since that point in time. With everything that has been said here, my one piece of advice would be to research all the information you can. Become informed of the process that lay ahead. This is not going to be an easy nor quick fix.

Good luck and I hope it turns out favorable. No one wants to be apart from their loved one(s).

That is really harsh and just not fair that they

can separate families like that.

And it's amazing they still expect him to pay

child support on a child they won't even let

him see.

Both adults were aware of the situation and the only negative thing I see in the case is they got married after he was deported.

So it was not the court / govt decision to separate them, they were very well aware of their circumstances.

He was never married to the child's mother,

they were still in high school.

He wasn't removed until 2 years after

the child.

Original post say they got married in UK after he was deported. Which mean both of them were aware of their situation whe they got married so there is no question of govt seperating families.
