As long as they can establish that you two have met you should have no problems.

Interesting I am a US Citizen and I got stamped everytime I visit Canada.

Seriously? Never. Alla uses only her green card and I use an enhanced drivers license, I have used a passport at times but never got a stamp on entering Canda or on entering USA from Canada. I go to Canada 2-3 times per week.

Alla is going to get an EDL as soon as she takes the oath (12 days) so she does not need to carry her passport. I think they will stamp your passport if you ask them to.

Do you have an older passport without a bar code? The newer ones they just "swipe" in the machine and it electronically "stamps" you. They KNOW when you have been there and back.

Gary,

I am usually flying to Canada so in the airport I got stamped everytime. When I cross the border driving I haven't got stamped. I guess it is only for flying. Actually I have a new passport.

I guess leaving near canadian border helps just to drive and not worry about flying, where you are required to have a passport.

I would say RFE is most probably what may happen.. but then thats an easy fix one. We had an RFE, and once I resubmitted what they needed (more evidence of our times spent together) it only took 10 days and we had our NOA 2.. after that it goes very fast. I even had a denial at border to vist, but once that Visa was in my hand, it was only 10 min at border to cross and I am here now, getting ready for our wedding next month.

The hardest part of the whole process was that first wait for the NOA 1. The most stressful was the interview.. but even that when I finally finished it, I had made it in my mind that it was worse than it was.

Seems that Canadians are the easiest ones to do.

After all.. we are "America's Hat"

Hi everyone, I kinda need help. My boyfriend last February 2 and we received our NOA1 on February 13. We are now waiting for our NOA2. What are the chances of getting our petition denied? If with blessings, we do get approved. The medical exam and interview will come after it. I would also like to know, what are the medical grounds for denial? I am a bit worried of this too. What diseases are tested the during the medical exam?

1. Neither did I. Approved without RFE

2. I didn't do a supplement for Qn 18 but I DID do supplements for the residence and employment for the G-325A and neither of those pages had my signature. Approved without RFE.

I will also mention I did the same thing for my AOS G-325A and also approved without RFE or interview.

I would not be freaking out if I were you. In the event they want it they'll RFE you which WILL slow you down but doesn't mean you repay the fee or anything so it's not the end of the world. Seriously. Don't stress. Neither of those are big deals.

Wow, good to know. Hope it's the same case for us.

So an RFE isn't even that big of a deal... thanks for the peace of mind, everyone. I've just been so anxious about the whole thing... forgive my freak out! And thanks again. This forum is awesome.
