Hello everyone,

So we received an ASC appointment notice date, basically our Biometrics date which is April 3, 2012. Does that mean there will not be any RFE request? I sure hope so  .

Hi SSD,

Having your bio appointment scheduled does not mean you will not receive an RFE. Most of the processing is yet to be done. We received our RFE 3.5 months after the bio appointment.

march 1 -uscis received our aos

march 15 -rfe

waiting for the notice in the box, dont know yet what he rfe is about

no biometric appointment yet

my guess for my rfe:

> medical -i did not send I-693 just included my DS-3025 coz it says "incomplete but eligible for blanket waiver"

>I-864 -i only send W-2 of my husband for the year 2011 and his paystubs from december to february, W-2's and 1040's for the year 2010, 2009 and 2008

i hope its just about the tax coz i already requested transcripts from IRS and have it onhand and ready to send.

are there any RFE with 2 issues in one letter?

It just means you have a biometrics appointment schedule. Has nothing to do with your I-485. RFE can be sent whenever during the process. You could get one in 4 months. Hopefully, you won't.

US citizen since April 2016

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012

I have heard of people getting multiple RFE's on one letter... I'm really hoping that isn't the case for us. I hate this waiting.

It might make your EAD and AP go faster (by a couple weeks) if they were just waiting on fingerprints. (Most common when your local office is backed up so that is all that is needed.) Or it might not affect the process at all other than the fact that you've gotten it over with and don't have to worry about it now.

Just a little question: was your case transfered to CSC in Laguna Niguel? I was just checking your timeline and it's quite similar to mine. My case was also transfered and I didn't hear a word since then.:-((((

I have heard of people getting multiple RFE's on one letter... I'm really hoping that isn't the case for us. I hate this waiting.

received the rfe letter in my mailbox yesterday and funny because the reason of rfe is none in my list.

USCIS is asking for my birth certificate.

i included in my aos packet a copy of my birth certificate in a security paper from NSO, the department that issues birth cert in the philippines. my birth cert is kinda blurry even its in english. So last night i dig on my papers from home and looked for a back up for my birth cert. i have a copy of my birth from our local registrar which is clear and readable and in english too but dated november 4, 2011. praying this is right. gonna send my rfe reply later.

in my case:

it's not about not having tax transcripts from IRS

its not about scanning, printing and sending an old visa photo

it's not about not sending I -693 when your DS3025 says incomplete but eligible for blanket waiver

it's about having a clear and readable birth cert. hehe
