Just got home from Walgreens, started reading forms, and I have a feeling that something is wrong. Please help.

Correct, I sent in 5 pictures of myself (intending immigrant) and two of my USC spouse (only one is required but they came in two's-- I sent the extra anyway :lol: )

I don't think I-94 is needed for I-765 if aosing based on immediate relative...but I could be wrong. If I remember correct I just sent proof of ID (copy of passport) and the two pics.

July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

May 2012 - Received green card.

Copy of legal entry isn't just an I-94. Its the visa or stamp etc that allowed you into the USA for your duration of stay.

Also Canadian tourists don't even get an I-94! =P so you would only have ID and pictures to send if you entered as a Canadian tourist.

A. A copy of Form I-94, Arrival-Departure Record (front and back), if available. If you are filing Form I-765 under the© (9) category, Form I-94 is not required.

This is the only thing I can see on the instructions applicable to legal entry...

I do see that if you are not filing under c9 that it is required...But my understanding was that the folks in this particular area of the forum should be because it is AOS...

7. EAD Applicants Who Have Filed for Adjustment of Status

A. Adjustment Applicant--©(9). File Form I-765 with a copy of the receipt notice or other evidence that your Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is pending. You may file Form I-765 together with your Form I-485.
