Hello i just wanna ask about my NBI clearance. I just got my NBI clearance yesterday but the problem is, i dont put my AKA name (MARRIED NAME) on it. Do i need to get another clearance or just go there again to get it corrected? I've read just now that i need to put aka name.

08/12/2011: Sent I-130 packet.

08/15/2011: NOA1, Priority Date

02/22/2012: NOA2 - Approved

02/25/2012: NOA2 - Received hard copy in mail

NVC

03/06/2012: NVC received

03/07/2012: NVC Case Number, BIN & IIN Assigned

03/08/2012: DS3032 sent by email (auto response received immediately)

03/13/2012: Re-send DS3032 by email (auto response received immediately)

03/13/2012: Received (2)Email with DS-3032 Kit and AOS Bill instructions

03/14/2012: AOS bill appears as PAID

03/16/2012: Mailed AOS package (I-864)USPS EXPRESS

03/16/2012: DS-3032 Accepted Via Beneficiary Email (Took 8 DAYS from 1st Email)

05/16/2012: Interview Scheduled May 22, 2012

05/22/2012: Interview APPROVED!!!!!!

05/26/2012: Visa in Hand (9 months 11 days from NOA1)

Wait, Are you married?

If you aren't Married the NBI you have is fine FOR K1 VISA, but it you are married......Why did you file K1?

I mean i got annulment and now for K1 visa

All your document including NBI must be filed using your current legal nameINCLUDING your CENOMOR!! If the annulled marriage was less than a year ago....This could be a RED FLAG!!

Disregard the comment about "annulment less than a year ago" as the process takes a long time in the Philippines and it's not too uncommon in the Philippines for either party to not wait out the process before exploring new relationships.

Your NBI should include all names you've used or your decision will be delayed by the US Embassy while they wait for the updated document.


Must have info for bringing your Philippine wife/fiancee's child to the US

May 9, 2017: N-400 packet was sent
May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!
Aug. 09, 2018: Oath Ceremony

you have to get another NBI clearance, and tell them, that you need the one with AKA..approached somebody(official/employee)that you need it for your visa processing. i got one, it so easy

Thank you. I got my my new clearance today and it was easy i just go to correction window (as i called it) and ask the lady that i need to put aka and have to put my previous married name. Then a fee of P115.00. It took only 30 mins. This site was really helpful. Thank you vjers. :dance:
