I applied for K3 visa, and it is taking 1 year and no action happened yet. I am wondering is there any risk if I apply for K3 visa to have my wife lives with me here in the US? Also what is the process, is there an interview, does it have to go through the embassy where my wife is currently living? Please any information will help me. Thanks.

Perhaps you could fill in your timeline

I do not believe you've applied for anything, I think you mean you've sent the I130 petition in correct? The I129F for the K3 visa is obsolete and will not result in a visa

Good luck

Are you saying you sent in the I-130- paperwork a year ago and have heard nothing? Not even a cashed check or NOA1? Sounds like they never got it.

Well,

if you sent in the I-130 a year ago,

and you decide to send in a I-129F today -

that 'waiting time' on the I-130 disappears, you lose yer place in the queue. Filing a I-129F resets all, the I-130 is joined up with the I-129F and is put at the back of the line, what ever 'the back' is for today's queue.

I say, pursue the I-130 on Tuesday, via telephone. Forget the I-129F.

Did you ever receive the I-797-C formletter , with the USCIS receipt # on it?

If so, please to call into USCIS hotline (# in that letter), give them the receipt #, ask for casefile status.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

You're getting answers that probably sound strange, because your question makes no sense. First, determine what you have actually filed and when. Then, tell us what HAS happened. If you're the US Citizen, you haven't applied for anything. You would have started by filing a petition. Which petition did you file, when and what HAVE you heard since mailing it?
