If you do copy your passport or the USC passport, make sure you copy every page in colour!

REALLY hoping to not get an RFE. We did not do color copies. This is the first time I've seen color copies mentioned. I'll just keep positive and hope for the best.

We married on Aug 24, 2013 in a small ceremony in MA

We'll be applying for a CR1 / IR1 visa as soon as we are able

I'll still be taking a bunch of evidence to the embassy. Saying that, i've been twice before to be interviewed for Artist Visas to tour with a band and the interview mainly consisted of.

"So you're a band?"

"Yes"

"What kind of music"

"Punk Rock"

"How long have you done it for"

"6 Years"

"Great, you've been approved!"

Fingers crossed it isn't much different!

it isnt much difference at all... they wont look at any evidence of ongoing relationship at the interview.

i wanna make this clear to all UK members... the embassy is not interested in proof of ongoing relationship so concentrate on the things that they do want

The USC passport isn't being supplied with I-129F for the purposes of establishing citizenship, we're going with the birth certificate for that. For showing evidence of a visit, do you mean that every page (cover to cover) of the passport should be copied and that it should all be in colour, or that the pages you do copy (not necessarily cover to cover) should be in colour? At the moment I've got just the pages with entry stamps copied in colour. Is that enough, or is a cover-to-cover copy required?

Going to have to bump this, it seems like an important difference!

We only copied the pages with our pictures and entry/exit stamps. Neither were in colour. We were approved without a RFE.

Has your US Fiance(é) been to visit you? In that case, you SHOULD include their passport copies too.

we only copied the entry/exit stamps and the bio page too and we didnt get an RFE... an entry stamp alone isnt enough. so long as everything is clear and legible then i dont think it really matters whether it is in colour or not
