Hi all,

I have a quesiton on the timing of filing for the N-400.

In mid August 2012, I'll have my 3rd anniversary for my greencard.

So can I file for N-400 in mid May which is 90 days prior to my 3rd year anniversary?

To do so, do I have to subtract any days when I was absent from the U.S. from the 90 days?

I had been outside of the U.S. for about 15 days (for a business trip).

So should I file in June 1st instead of mid May?

I'll appreciate your help. :help:

if your married then file n-400 three years minus 90 days, the 15 days don;t matter.out of the usa.if you have taken a trip outside of the usa that lasted for six months or more since becoming a permanent resident, then send boarding passes along with times and dates.
