What service center to look for processing?

Well I finally filed our I-130 and since I am in Texas sent to the Phoenix, AZ office. Is it this the center that will process the whole packet and send it to NVC (I gather is the NVC in your area for me in Texas somewhere) or It's just a stop off in Phoenix to be determined who gets the packet.

I guess I am confused about the different service centers ( TSC, VSC and CSC). So don't know where Phoenix comes in.

I would assume once I get my NOA1 that will tell me where they sent it right? Gosh I thought the hard part was getting the evidence all together. OMG I am beside myself and its only been two days. LOLheadbonk.gif

pay attention to the I-797-C formletter that comes in -

the first 3 letters on the receipt # will tell you where it went.

Only CSC and VSC adjudicate I-130 petitions. Phoenix is only for intake of documentation; your file will be sent to one of the two service centers I mentioned from Phoenix.

Once you receive your NOA1, if the first 3 letters of your receipt number are WAC, your petition is in California; if the first 3 letters of your receipt number are EAC, your petition is in Vermont.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

And it seems the USCIS is working weekends. How else can my package been signed for by them and I also have seen 3 people say they got approved (NOA2) this weekend. Weird stuff but glad to see a moving government.

Thank you for this. You are so right. My daily prayer is that this petition will go on the wings of angels and just fly through. And hmmmmm engage in something. Man it seems for 9 months I have eat, drink and slept this petition and now its everyday looking at my phone and email for a receipt than I guess the fun begins.whistling.gif
