Well it's raining, it's freezing cold, and I have a three day weekend coming up! Well kind of a three day weekend, I am working at a festival tomorrow morning for my job, but at least it will be fun and not just sitting on my bottom. Hopefully it wont be raining tomorrow.

Adil and I were watching a movie called "The Message" about The Holy Qur'an, and I passed out on the floor. I think is was at 10 when my husband woke me up to go to the bedroom. All I remember from that was me crawling from where I fell asleep to the bedroom. Anyway, I woke up this morning feeling like I needed just a little more sleep. I rolled over and asked Adil if he could take me to work, he said "MMMMhhmmm." I couln't tell if he was serious or not cause usually he says no. But I reset my alarm and slept until 7:30! Now I am feeling good. This is the most sleep I have had in a long time. I think I am going to have to start going to bed earlier from now on.

Well I hope everyone has a good day today and a great weekend!

ETA: I just saw that my manager is on a site just like this but for the Philadelphia Eagles, so he can't ever yell at me for coming on VJ!

You sound like me last night. I was nodding off at 9 pm, finally crawled in bed at 9:35 and died. The phone rang at 1:30 am and I have no idea how it ended up in my hand but it was Mohammed apologizing for waking me. I remember him saying he just needed to hear my voice he was having a rough day. I attempted conversation but I think it was pretty incoherent because he told me thank you, gave me a kiss, and sent me back to bed. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I have no idea what we talked about. lol I actually feel horrible because this is the first time I just couldn't pull my act together for him. I had to get up at 5, hit the road at 6 and was at my desk working before 7. Blah. I'm ready for a nap...........

I know that I talked to my dad for a second, I think he was saying something about the car, but I looked on my phone this morning and my best friend called and I must have answered it, but I don't know what was said. I hope I didn't say anything mean. I will have to call her tonight after work. This new medicine I am taking to reduce migraines makes me so sleepy, so I decided to take it at night and I will be able to sleep better. I guess it works!

Rachid is having a hard time spending Ramadan in the states.... he is missing his family ... if you have any advise to cheer him up I definitely could use it....

2 hours and 19 minutes till my long weekend with no kiddo's starts.

I plan on doing a major housecleaning tomorrow all day. I 've had them for almost three weeks straight and they've trashed the place!!! lol

Thinking of chinese food or pizza for iftar tonight. . . :D

Some good news - we just got approved at the USCIS - SO SUPER FAST. We went through Vermont and it was literally mailed September 20th. :dance: (I have been waiting for an excuse to use that smiley)

Okay so next is the National Visa Center - then directly to the Embassy? Because it looks like on the flow chart that there is another step in there where you do an affidavit of support??

I took Hicham to work this morning and he called me 2 minutes later telling me to come back and pick him up so he's off for the afternoon yay!

Happy Friday girls! Took my daughter to one of the LONG doctor visits today. They are going to do an endoscopy in the near future. They want this done before the 27th when she sees another specialist. They were throwing out all sorts of diagnosis' to me today. Really freaked me out. I just have to leave everything in Gods hands and pray everything will be ok.

You submitted your application on Sept 20 and you got approved already? Are you sure its not NOA1?

You submitted your application on Sept 20 and you got approved already? Are you sure its not NOA1?

I am kind of shocked as well...but my lawyer emailed me when we got the NOA1 (with the case number) and then emailed me today that we got the USCIS Approval. He said that the next step is the National Visa Center then Embassy. Plus when I log into the USCIS Case Status page and type in my case numbere it says it was approved.

Am I missing something?

Am I missing something?

I would hope that your lawyer knows what he's talking about, so congrats! You just got very lucky. :D

The case number doesnt show up on NOA1 and the NOA1 is not the approval. I hope your lawyer is aware of that. But if the USCIS page says you are approved then I think you just broke a world record. Congrats! :star:(F)

However I would have your attorney confrim that its not an error
