NOA 1 & 2

Hello VJ Friends,

We're a bit confused with the NOA thing.

We submit for our file on Feb 16,2012 then on the Feb 21,2012 we received I-797C Notice of Action.

On that letter we found that my birth date typed wrongly so my hubby called USCIS to make a revision they said its ok as it would consider as a tipographical error (something like that).

On the March 08,2012 we received anothe I-797 Notice of Action, it didn't say if it was the 2nd NOA or a revision. So my question is the one that we received is it a 2nd NOA or its just a revision from what my hubby called to USCIS ? and if it is a NOA2, what is the next step? waiting for NVC ?

This same thing happened with us, and we were given a reissue of the NOA1 with the correct information. I believe this is just a corrected NOA1. Your NOA2 will look different, and will tell you that your petition is approved. Hope this helps, and best wishes to you.

It is just a corrected version of your NOA1.
