Hypothetical question on I-864 and pregnancy

Ok this is just a hypothetical question. Say a couple goes through the K-1 process and then does the AOS process. Regarding the I-864 the USC makes enough money to reach the 125% of the poverty guidelines for two people but not three and is obviously pregnant at the AOS interview....what will they consider that to be? Two or three people that the income has to cover?

Hypothetically I would say the family size is the number of people on the day the I-864 is signed. If the interviewer has reason to believe your situation has changed since submitting, he can ask for more proof or more money or whatever he might require to make a decision. If you are transferred to CSC, the adjudicator won't see you.

Yep, 2 people. If you are very very close to the 125% line, the officer may look for a reason to deny, but if you are comfortably over the 2 person limit, but no-where near the 3, you should be fine.
