what to tell canadian customs

I think I have been lucky with respect to crossing the border with my children. I have always had their passports, birth certificates, health cards and SIN cards. Along with a signed letter from their father stating he was aware of their travel etc. Both crossing in the airport and at Buffalo and Detroit land borders I haven't been asked for much. Once I showed their passports. Beyond that I haven't been asked much at all. Almost seems less when I am with them than without them.

But I am always prepared. I agree with the previous posts...if it were my children missing I would want every car inspected!!!

I always get detained when I am traveling to Canada. It doesn't matter if I fly or drive. I almost expect it now. I travel to visit my fiance and I travel to the Toronto area for work. My last trip was September so I am hoping when I leave in 23 days that it will be far enough apart that I don't get detained.
