Hi all,

I have a question about the advance parole. We have our wedding day set in Feb 2013 back in my country so I was wondering whether I should include the advance parole for the initial application that we are turning in few weeks or wait if everything doesn't go smoothly then apply? Because I heard that including in the initial application can also delay the processing time and our interview date?

Also, if I receive my EAD, can I start working full-time?

Any suggestion? thank you

Given that the AP costs nothing when filed with AOS, what do you have to lose by not filing? Something may come up and you wish you could travel outside the US while waiting for the GC. Given the current processing times I would file for AP, EAD and GC. We did and it took 46 days for AP/EAD and 89 days for the GC back in May of last year. Once you recieve the EAD you can begin to work.

Hope this helps,

Dave

You will have your green card way before Feb 2013 if you file it now. C09 EAD is no restriction, you can work full time. By the way you are in wrong forum. Good luck.
