I just got a letter from USCIS stating my AOS interview date and amongst the documents I have to bring was the I-693.

This is my vaccination record signed by panel physician on Jul-07-2011 (sry my scanner decided to stop working today -_-):

DT, DTP, DTaP :

Not age appropriate

Td(checked); Tdap :

Date received: Jul-06-2011

Insufficient time interval (I got another shot on Aug-08-2011)

Polio-OPV; IPV :

Not age appropriate

MMR :

Date received: Jul-06-2011

Completed (even tho I got another shot on Aug-08-2011)

Rotavirus :

Not age appropriate

Hib :

Not age approproiate

Hepatitis A :

Not age appropriate

Hepatitis B :

Date received: Jul-06-2011

Insufficient time interval (got 1 more shot on Aug-08-11 and 1 on Sep-09-11)

Meningoccocal :

Not routinely available

Vericella :

Not routinely available (but the yellow immunization record says "Had disease")

Pneumococcal :

Not age appropriate

Influenza :

Not age appropriate (I thought everyone was supposed to take this)

So my questions are:

1. Will I need to take any other kind of vaccines (I'm not quite sure what "not routinely available" is supposed to mean)? If so, how much will it cost?

2. Does anyone know of a cheap civil surgeon in Bellevue, WA and surrounding areas? I need a cheap one recognized by USCIS, not a good one lol (don't we all?). Do I just need them to sign of the I-693? Any infos on this will be greatly appreciated :)

You should be able to find a suitable physician from the VJ Guides list of USCIS approved physicians.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

"Si vis amari, ama" - Seneca

I know but that's a large number of ppl to call lol (calling some right now). I just thought if anyone already know one, it'd be awesome. Never know what they'll tell me to make me pay for unnecessary things!

Thanks for replying tho

Not routinely available - means basically it is not kept on hand or easy to get in that country. It may not be part of that countrys regular vaccination regime.

Influenza being listed "not age appropriate" I could see that - Generally the vaccination for influenza is given to the elderly people only. Because they tend to die when they get the flu.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The I-693 in the list will say "unless already submitted". If you weren't RFE'd for the I-693 you don't need to do anything. That letter is a standard letter that EVERYONE gets.

I don't remember having submitted any I-693 tho. Do you think I should just go without it and get it when they personally tell me to? :o

You didn't submit and I-693 because that's a medical form and coming on the K1 you had your medical in your home country. Like i said that's a standard letter. I would NOT see a CS and go to the interview with whatever you have now. If they require and I-693 (which I doubt) then they will tell you at the interview (don't ask about it they'll tell you). So don't waste the time and money unless you get told at the interview that you need to.

@_@... Im telling you I hate paperwork >"< ... This is so confusing :crying: . Some say I need it, some say I don't :huh2: . What about the meningococcal whatever vaccine that I didn't get cuz it was "not routinely available"? (I'm turning 23 on Apr-11) Will I still have to get it?

I hope someone else will confirm this for me. Not that I don't trust you but I get all paranoid when it comes to this painful process lol

Meningococcal?? I had tdap, MMR and varicella history (also HPV but that's not required anymore). I was approved without RFE or interview.

There are many many threads about the i-693 thing. Have a look at some of them and also hopefully someone will come along that knows as well :)

The meningococcal is listed amongst the required vaccines  . I've been looking at the other threads, that's why I'm so confused :bonk:

But not for your age range! Here: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/recs/schedules/downloads/adult/mmwr-adult-schedule.pdf page 3, table 1. Yellow is what you NEED if it's in your age range. Purple is if you have conditions explained in table 2 that mean you should... which I doubt at 23 you do.

1 piece of good news in forever! What about Varicella vaccine? The DS-3025 says "not routinely available" (No "VH") but the yellow immunization record says I "had disease". Can I just show them the yellow paper? or is it not valid?

And Influenza is apparently "not age appropriate" for me on DS-3025 but the list you gave me shows yellow for all age range :|

Ooohhh that's not good. Again I would just wait and see. I would look into a good CS in your area in case you DO get RFE'd at the interview but i wouldn't do it yet because lately there's been a huge issue with CS's wanting a whole new medical thanks to the new form version.
