RFE to NOA2?

How long will it typically take for NOA2 after RFE? They acknowledged the RFE response review on Feb 23rd. They had asked for a complete court disposition and police report pertaining to a domestic violence case I had back in 2005. The case is closed now, I went to court and got a certified copy of the court disposition but when I went to the police department they told me that since I was the suspect in the case I would have to subpoena for the report so they wrote me a statement indicating that on their letterhead. Will that be enough? Will USCIS ask to subpoena?? Anybody have any input on what I might encounter next? I am extremely worried!

I'm waiting for my NOA2 after sending the RFE reply! Unfortunately there is no standard time frame, it's been 8 days since they received it, but nothing happened yet!

AOS I-485:

Package sent: October 10th

NOA1: October 18th

Biometric Letter: October 20th

Biometric apt: November 16th

Well check out my timeline. And if it IS possible to get the record you will have to get it. The police station here only keeps records for 5 yr. So the lady wrote me a letter addressed to USCIS abd stamped it. When you have any of those convictions listed on the I129f I guess they put you in further background checks. Good luck.

04/09/15-Mailed ROC

04/10/2015-Package received

04/14/2015-Check cashed

06/02/2015-Called Service Center (still no NOA1) Service request found out wrong address on paperwork! :(

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.

Depends on the RFE and when they got the requested info from you. Typically this can add 1-3 months delay depending on what the RFE was orginally for.

Our RFE was in early November and we received our NOA2 in Jan 10th with our NOA2 dated January 13th. He received the embassy packet on Feb 14th and the interview was March 14. I am sure that our RFE took longer than is typical because it was on the desk of someone on vacation for Christmas.

I really, really, REALLY wish I would have known about frontloading. I sent in the original application EXACTLY what was required as per the instructions. Those instructions should be changed if it automatically dings you for an RFE by being exact. I had no idea that it would be okay to include more stuff with it. Finding this site took me about 6 months of web browsing amongst all the lawyer websites. Visa Journey needs to be the number one hit on Google!
