hey guys,

i have a quick question, my hubby and i requested an expedite due to his upcoming deployment but it has been a month and we did fax over the document they asked for. do you know how long this process should take? a month seems to be a long time and we haven't heard anything about the expedite. i called the military helpline and they also said a month is a long time to not hear anything. Do you think we should request another expedite? We are currently at the 4 month mark. What do you guys think?

I filed for expedited naturalization too and haven't heard anything, although it seems it was only delivered on Monday, the expedite seems slow at moment. Sorry I'm not any help, but I do understand how you're feeling.

Hoping you get word soon :)

I apologize for your long wait. I tried the process you are in and I do not thing they see a pending deployment as a reason for expedite. I ended up doing mine on deployment. We took the passport photos before I left country and took care of the rest since I have been deployed minus the things we did while I was on r&r. Everything that needs to be done, the beneficiary can do alone. I guess thats the way they look at it. If I were you, I would double tap the expedite. I didn't. We just let it be.
