Hi VJer's

iam ronzkie female from the philippines i would just like to share my experiences and the process i went thru with my k1 visa petition. my fiance filed the petition last nov 15,2011 with forms included are I 129 f and G 325 a plus my recent passport/ visa pictures, cover letter, scanned letter of intent to marry, my childs birth certificate also filed as k2,affidavit of support documents... do you think we missed out any forms? or rqmnts?

last january 20 2012 we received our NOA 1- filed rcvd by Uscis though still waiting for the next NOA 2. waiting for long is soo stressful any comments or any one of you still waiting????

Are u sure he file it on Nov 15, 2011?? I was wondering how come it take forever for u to get your receipt. Which is the NOA1.i'm assuming he just probably file your petition somewhere Jan ‘2012. Because to be honest usually after USCIS received the I-129F it will ONLY take 7-10days to receive the receipt I-797 (NOA1)...then after that you have to wait few months to get either the RFE (request for evidence..which is on your case they might because u guys never include proof of meeting in person and on going relationship) OR the NOA2 means you I-129F is approved.

if i were you ask your fiance to give u the Receipt Number(WAC00000000) and check your status on line (USCIS) to see if he really saying the truth. :bonk:

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!

Well, Ailenn and I have been witing now for 5 months and still no word. I'm begining to wonder what the deal is. I see that most everyone that had their I-129 turned into Vermont in October has gotten their NOA2. I called and all they can tell me is that it is processing. We had everything they requested and plenty of proof of the ongoing relationship. .

Just be patient this is the longest part. It will seem like forever but once you get your NOA 2 wait 10 days and start calling the NVC it will be there for a couple of weeks. Once they send your packet to manila then go ahead and pay your fees and get your receit from the BPI. then file your online stuff and get a interview date once you have that you can go ahead and get your physcial. Make the appointmant online at St Lukes before you go there. It will save you a bunch of time. Good luck..It truly is a journey

Also while your there you can go take your CFO class you wont get a sticker in your passport you will have to wait for that until you get your visa but you will get the class and when you do get your visa you just have to go back show them your cert. from the class and they will put the sticker in your passport, Don't forget that or else you wont be able to leave.

Hi again. As far as tracking through the USCIS i was never able to do that. I always kept getting wrong number message from the site. Don't freak out i think this happens alot. I was finally able to track it after they approved my petition. How silly is that huh... Just hang in there I know exactly how you feel, We have been trying this for 3 years. What took us so long was the whole anullment thingee there. Gosh what a pain !!!! But my bags are packed and I am heading over there to be with my lovely wife to be for her interview next thursday, I or she will post the Q&A from it. She is alittle nervous but I keep reassuring her that it will be ok. remember just be honest with your answers on the forms from the embassy

start remembering every detail about your fiancee where he works whats his parents names and such. Just please be patient. I know its easier said than done..hehehe

Hang in there friend.
