Well, I know is not a short term on AP. I just want straight answers from Embassy and Dos. I believe my congressmen and senators can get the "Truth", after that I can deal with it.

Yes, Evelyn they can. Mine finally told me that they talked to the American Embassy in Turkey and found out that our petition was sent back to NVC for more documents for proof of a bonafide marriage.

At least I now know that it was not for a criminal record, drugs, or a failed medical exam. He had a lot of proof with him, but the officer would not look at it.

So confusing.

nothing yet

:( i know the feeling.. ours too was for mandatory AP... I just wish they could finish this process at least within 6 months... but i think bcos so many others are also getting these deep name checks its backlogged the system so the wait is longer now...

Hopefully there will be some new updates soon.. DOS has told me over and over that nothing is wrong with our case (LOL usually bcos i end up in tears now when i call them) and they see that they are working on it and of cos they can't say anything about name checks but I KNOW that's where we are bcos the CO told us the only thing left for us was the name checks

Hopefully you will hear something good soon just hang in there...
