I was wondering if anyone has a fiance that was here illegally from Mexico and had to file an I-601 waiver. If so, how long did it take for the waiver to be approved?

2010-13-08 NOA 1 Received

2010-02-11 I-130 transferred to Tx. Service Center

601 waivers in Mexico are averaging about between 6 and 9 months right now. Take a look at the 601 forum on immigrate2us.net for more info. Good luck.

If he is going to attend an interview in Mexico, then he will no longer be in the US. The waiver his fiance will file will be a request to forgive his illegal presence so he does not have to wait out a 3 or 10 year ban.
