The traditional first anniversary give is something made of paper. Here is a link with suggestions.

We were married in December last year. I'm giving Marlene round trip tickets home. We'll spend Christmas with her family in the Philippines this year.

Nice gift! :star:

My husband (yay!) is a bibliophile so in a little under a year I plan on getting him a book. It's paper. :)

:o i hope there is a medicine that can help...

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

For our 1st anniversary Sujeet got me a white gold ring that had matching earrings. Really pretty. I just got him some clothes. He didn't even want anything, since our money is from his income so it's like he's spending on himself which he'd rather not do. I don't follow the traditions of what year is which kind of gift.
