Had my AOS interview this morning. Approved and received a stamp in my passport. Will post a review shortly - but was in and out of the interview room in under 10 minutes.

March 19th - received NOA

April 13th - Biometrics

May 03rd - notified of interview (06/13/2012)

May 06th - received interview letter in mail

May 11th - received notification of EAD card in production

May 19th - EAD in hand

May 23rd - Applied for SSC

May 29th - Received social security card in mail (card in hand)

June 13th - Interview (approved on the spot)

June 13th - got notification of approval

June 18th - Card in production (also received welcome letter in mail)

June 21st - Green Card in hand

End of this journey....

I feel the same way! I have been waiting for my EAD, and it seems like some people who had Bio-metrics later than me already got approved their EAD.

I-130/AOS Timeline:
3/5/2012 (Day 0) - Concurrent filing of I-130/AOS from F1 Visa(with EAD and AP) mailed to Chicago Lockbox
3/6/2012 (Day 1) - Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox.
3/8/2012 (Day 3) - NOA 1 Notice Date
3/13/2012 (Day 8)- Received Bio-metrics Appointment Notice Date
4/10/2012 (Day 36) - Bio-metrics Date of Appointment and completed
6/5/2012 (Day 92) - Online case status says: Card/ Document Production.
6/11/2012 (Day 98) - Online case status says: Card mailed
6/12/2012 (Day 99) - Online case status says: Card picked up by USPS on June 11th.
6/13/2012 (Day 100) - EAD/AP in hand.
6/20/2012 (Day 107) - Online case status says: Testing and Interview and USCIS mailed an appointment notice for our interview

Cause everyone I know that filed aos for their hubby's from Jamaica all got approved and transfered some filed a week after us and few filed couple days b4.

K1 VISA

Being transferred isn't really a good thing. They seem to take a lot lot longer than those that go to your local office. You may well be approved before those people that transferred and you'll have a big smile on your face. Don't worry they haven't lost you it just takes a while. Relax.

thanks for your reply, but did you ever hear that some people can go for early walk in interview?

Yes I have heard of people walking in early for bio metrics. They say some centers allow walkins and others do not. Ours did not allow for a early walk in.

August 2008- Met

December 2009- attempted face to face

Hi y'all,

We have had our AOS case transferred to CSC, so by all account may take a while now. But regardless, I just received my EAD and AP combo card today! So can finally start some work (if I can find some!). And am fully enrolled in University to start my Masters in three weeks time!

There's a lot of waiting around for things to happen in the past year, but boy does it feel good when you can see the light at the end and begin to get on with life!
