Might still get transferred, it's relatively early days yet. You've got your EAD, so relax, just accumulate whatever evidence is left if any and hang on in there, I'm in Miami too, filed couple of days after you, still no EAD but I do have an interview date. So just have to hang on in there for the time being. Some folk who have been transferred to California take a longer time to get their GC when they don't have interview, so it's 6 of one half dozen of the other.

Filed my AOS, EAD, AP, and I-130 03/28/12. Received NOA1 for my AP 10 days after. Just received the I-797C for the other 3 today 04/28/12. When I opened the mail, the form has an envelope stapled to it that has yellow sticker from USPS that says "Insufficient Adress". I guess the notices was returned to USCIS the first time and then, they resend them...this time to my PO Box. Whats bugging me is the Red Stamp in the bottom of the form that says "Action Completed, Approved for filing" and some numbers and initials. I wonder what are they? and what it means.

hi everyone! been following this site for last few weeks and finally decided to join! :star:

so here are my stats

filed - march

(received 3 receipts letters dated march 19th 2012 for i-765 i-131 i-130 )

biometrics - April 13th (did no walk in went on my scheduled date)

its been two weeks and nothing (I keep checking online like everyday 5-6 times a day and it keeps saying "initial review" )

I would think my case is easy (we have been together 5 yrs have a 3 yr old son submitted all evidence required - photos, taxes, affidavit, my medical etc ) we used a lawyer to file everything (our personal choice which personally has really helped us)

I have been perusing this site alot and noticed alot of people have received EAD within one week and even approval for EAD the next day..

I know each case is different...but I am getting anxious and impatient (yes I know its soon but I cant help it) ... I am happy I have joined so I can somehow vent on this issue as well

I am in houston - so I would assume my service center is texas. I have not received any email stating any case has been transferred etc. (yes I have signed up for email alerts and SMS on the USCIS site)

so here I am and lets see how this journey progresses! By the Will of God I hope soon ... for everyone myself included (L)

best regards to all on their Visa Journey !!!

March 19th - received NOA

April 13th - Biometrics

May 03rd - notified of interview (06/13/2012)

May 11th - received notification of EAD card in production

June 13th - Interview (approved on the spot)

June 13th - got notification of approval

Also the case status online hasn't been updated either.

I-130 I-131 I-765 are stuck on initial review since MARCH19, 2012

I-485 stuck on acceptance since MARCH 21,2012

The last updated / touch dates show MARCH 21, 2012

That's the date they first send me email of NOA with receipt number and since I did my biometrics it has not change either ... I hope my case is not lost

i am currently in your situation no progress online since march 19th ... i have been in "initial review" for two weeks going on three weeks..... keep the group posted on developments. Also where did u file?

March 19th - received NOA

Hello, we have received our interview schedule and I have some questions:

1- can we do early walk-in interview the same as the biometrics as the interview is coming early and we will have to return to USA to attend the interview? can we reschedule it earlier?

2-do they take copies of our photos of marriage or they just take a look of it ? or I can show them photos on my computer, IPAD..etc

Well we have taken our biometerics on April 23. We have also been notified that our file has been transfered to the CSC. No word on our EAD yet but praying that it will come through in May. Some say getting a interview is better then being transfered to CSC because you know approval right away with interview and the CSC has a long wait with no word on what is going on. What do you guys think?

1. You have to check with the center that your interview is with and see if you can complete a walk in at that center.

2. You would want to bring the orignal for them to see and a copy for them if they request it. Bring hard copies of pictures already labeled.

I don't think that you can do a walk-in for an interview. They must have your file when you come. Plus they already have people who are scheduled to come for their interviews. I think each immigration officer have about 2 to 3 interviews a day.
