ok ya i got you ...but i have a career, and i have a daughter and vacation time is hard to get and each trip is like 5-6k so, a person can only do so much when we both are paying for it..he also has a job and we are saving money for our future where ever we will live. we have an apt in egypt now, so if this wont happen ( god forbid) we have back up plans in place. Either we move to Egypt or i get a job in my field in Dubai. The ONLY reason we plan him to come here is my daughter is in school here and school is free. American schools are not free there. After than our plan is to move and be with our family in Egypt. Like i say: US is a destination for our family..we will settle in Egypt. InshaAllah.

In that case, not a problem.

For what it is worth my Step Son went to the US School when in the UK, you had to pay but the standard was much higher than the education he received in the US.

Often Expat postings include education costs.

i can agree with you that education wise other countries have better system than US..but she has 4 more years. makes sense to continue here and her go to college there at American University in Cairo

This was at an American School doing an American High School course. He was cruising in the US, not so there.

im confused i was advised that we were denied and was given a white slip saying case being sent to uscis and now when i call the VS they tell me its AP so confused i did summit a letter of complaint to the general consul because of the way they treated us, do u think that is why it is under AP or is this a process case has to go through to be sent back. Please advise

one more question; my friend has also applied last year and his case got AP refusal. he is still waiting but before his interview, he had some issues with his wife there....he thinks maybe his wife might have canceled the whole case. is it possible if his wife can cancel the case

I would give them as much notice as possible, just to be on the safe side.

actually, we confrimed from NVC and they said they have to submit an application for cancelation with proper justifications, like specific documents and then it takes a 2 months for the cancellatin process...

also if his wife cancelled the process, then the embassy officials would have refused the case there and then, right?
