i hope it get done soon, and that my nationality doesn't come as a cause for delay...u know by the way she asked me how long have u been in UAE and i told her that i was born here. then she checked back the documents and said OK..

I didn't read all the responses so I apologize if anyone said this before me.

Virtually all MENA men will be on AP. Almost all men, so yes your nationality and religion come into play. Mostly the AP is to check names and do a thorough background check. At times (and this is unusual) agents may visit your home and interview family members and friends. As far as your relationship, that also factors into the AP: spouse or fiance visa? (spouses get AP more than fiance/es), age difference? different religions? race difference? how many times has your spouse visited? etc. It could be a seamless transaction of 2 weeks or brutally painful as years.

Good luck!

Nationality and religion are the two main factors.

If you are in AP, that doesnn't mean you're denied. Do not worry. The question is, how long you've been married? and, did you marry the first visit? All of this comes into play, unfortunately. But again, AP is not a denial, so don't worry.

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

u know the more we chat the more will we get confused and worried......its of no use..everyone has a different profile or different story...All is in Allah Almighty's Hand...we cant do anything...He justs wants to test our patience...No one can do anything if Allah's Will is not there. If His Will is there, then no one can delay the process. but if He thinks delay is better, then no one can speed up the process. so the only one who can help all of us is ALLAH

Do you have a Lawyer?

NO, we didnt need one. we have done this entire process alone. and done well we have stamps on documents from US Department of State signed by Hillary Clinton, The US Embassy/ UAE Embassy in Washington DC, Stamps on documents from The UAE government in Dubai. Every one has seen and processed our documents proir to this petition and i think in looking at this they will see we have done a lot to show we are not full of it. They even have my certificate of religion which is stamped by everyone. and Every document is translated in arabic and has notorized as well...you see? Anything and everything they need is there to show our documents are true. And we have everything in regards to evidence to prove our relationship/ marriage...1 full suitcase full of records above and beyond what they asked for. We are normal , honest people...and we have nothing to hide and we are not criminals. We love each other and any one can see this..but this CO didnt look at our STACK of BOOKS of evidence she just told him everything looks ok and gave him his passport and blue slip and said....check website in 2 weeks and the box on slip is checked Adminstrative Processing...I dont feel a lawyer was needed. We never been married before..we never filed for visa before..we dont have criminal history..nothing is complicated in this case.

Exactly what I was going to ask. If am not mistaken, she said they've been together a total of 3 1/2 weeks. She hasn't answered the age difference question. My guess is that only 2 trips and marriage in the 1st visit raised some red flags.

At least not that much older, might be a good idea to get some more time together.
