Please help IF I 485 pending requesting for initial evidence what about I 765 ?

Hi can someone please help me i'm not sure what it means.

USCIS has requesting inital evidence because I didn't send in my birth certificate ( I don't have one from my birth place)

so they said that :

The Service will process your form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization (if submitted) within 90 of the

receipt of your missing initial evidence. This is pursuant to Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 103.2(b)(10)(ii).

so does that mean my I 765 will be pending also? Please explain....

I am urgently needing my working permit. I will not be able to get my working permit as scheduled?

Please any info would be great!!! TIA

That is exactly how I would read it - once you send the evidence, then they will process I-765.

Yes, it does. Get someone from your country to request it on your behalf or call the office there and find out how they can expedite it to you

I had a family member request mine and after she teceived it, scanned a copy to my email which I printed out and submitted. If you can, do the same and have that person mail the original afterward. If you do not comply with the request, your case will be denied.

The problem is when I was born I didn't have any record of my birth. =( I really don't know what to do...

I asked my Dad and he told me when I was born I didn't have any record oh my birth so I don't have a birth cert.

Where were you born? DOS has a list of acceptable documents from all countries.

You might want to make an Infopass appointment to explain them why you don't have one and ask them what an acceptable document would be.

This will delay your plans to work. Your application is paused until you provide what they asked for. They will then accept or deny your application within 90 days of receiving it. Meanwhile it is illegal for you to work.

If your birth record is not obtainable for any reason, a certified statement must be obtained from the appropriate government authority explaining why your birth record is unavailable. You must also submit secondary evidence such as:

A baptismal certificate that contains the date and place of birth, as well as both parents names (providing the baptism took place shortly after birth)

An adoption decree for an adopted child

An affidavit from a close relative, preferably your mother, stating the date and place of birth, both parents names, and your mother’s maiden name.

Note: An affidavit executed before an official authorized to take oaths or affirmations must also be provided. More specific information is available from the NVC.

Yes, RFEs for the 485 stop all processing on the other filings.
