Police Certificate for Qatar

My fiance is needing a Police Certificate from Qatar because she worked there for 3years. Also that is where I met her, and where we fell in love together, she is not in Qatar now but back home.

I have looked up the information for it, and it says that she has to go to Manila to the Qatari Embassy to get one. But I am not to sure about that, and I want to know if anybody else had to do it for Qatar as well. I am trying to clarify things before she goes up to Manila, because it is so far away for her.

I have no experience with attaining the PC from Qutar so I may not be much help. There is a website that the U.S. Department of State shows the official requirements from many countries for a PC and other matters. Here is the link http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/QA.html

Former residents should write to the Department of Public Security and General Administration, Ministry of Interior, P.O. Box 920, Doha, State of Qatar supported by the following documents:

  1. A letter requesting the issuance of a Police Clearance Certificate from the State of Qatar. The letter should include the purpose in requesting the Police Clearance Certificate, the first date of arrival of the person in Qatar and the last date of departure.
  2. A complete photocopy of all pages of the passport (include copies of all pages, regardless of entries).
  3. A set of fingerprints taken by a competent government authority from the applicant's current place of residence.
  4. 3 passport-size photographs.
  5. A self-addressed return envelope large enough to hold an A4 size document.

The Police Clearance Certificate will be issued in about two weeks and will be mailed to the applicant.

Since I am the OP of this thread back in 2012 I will tell you how my wife ended up getting her police clearance. She is luckily on good terms with her former employer, and she asked him if he could help her get the police clearance. He ended up helping her with it and we were able to proceed with the K1 visa. Your fiance can go to the Qatari consulate outside Manila to get the police clearance.
