WASHINGTON (AP) — White born-again and evangelical Christians were dominating Alabama's and Mississippi's Republican presidential primaries on Tuesday, showing up in numbers unsurpassed by any state where voters have been polled so far this year, according to preliminary results of exit polls of voters.

The two states voting Tuesday also had unusually high numbers of voters without college degrees ... Six in 10 Mississippians did not have degrees, more than any other state so far, while Alabama had nearly that many.

Racists often suggest that US citizens with a lower level of education should not be allowed to vote. Clearly it is a racist point of view, particularly as projected on Alabama and Mississippi which have large numbers of poorly educated minorities. We put a stop to their racist practices of poll taxes and now they want to require a particular level of education for all voters.

I think that those voters should be commended for giving Santorum a boost to his struggling campaign! He will present the clearest contrast with the democratic ticket in November if nominated and even if not, he will push Romney to pander even further to the right wing fringe which will also help contrast him with Obama!

At any rate, the most Republican of Republican states in the nation is Mississippi and they happen to be the state that uses the most food stamps in the entire country! Over 20% of Mississippians are on them!

Matter of fact, the southern states (Republican) are the states where food stamps are most used (Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, Kentucky, Louisiana...)

According to your incorrect beliefs that EBT users vote Democrats...The southern backward states should all be heavily Democrat....Looks like the complete opposite is true. Give a man an EBT card and he votes Republican!
