Guys, is that ok if I fix a couple of info that i made a mistake on my DS-156?

I realized that a date was incorrected and afterpring the form I fixed it by hand. Should I star all over again of my datas are already save in the their files?

Appreciate

If possible, I would fill out the DS-156 on the computer again with the correct date and then print it out. However, if for some reason you can't do this, crossing out the mistake very neatly in ink is okay. Then write the correct date above it and sign your name next to the new date so they know who corrected it. They understand that mistakes are made, and it's better to have the correct date on the form than the wrong one.

On the day of my interview, they handed back my original packet 3 and asked me to look over it and make any necessary corrections. My husband's phone number had changed so I changed that. You should be okay as long as you write clearly

Is it TOO SOON to fill out completely DS 156 and DS 160?

Montreal HASN'T received my petition yet, but its on the way. My forms are already done and waiting to be sent after DOS saying they have "sent"P3"..

Hope is ok, to have the forms prepared in an advance.

Thanks

My lawyer misspelled my work's name and we didn't have time to fix the form before the interview. I brought my business card/work information just in case.

During the part of the interview when they take your DS-156, I let the person know that there was a mistake on the form. She just corrected it on the form, it didn't seem like a big deal.

thank you so much...

CONFUSING HERE: ds 160 (JUST USE THE SAME TOPIC)

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with US law?

i SAID "YES" - does this refer to the vaccination we have to update for the medical exams?

Is this correct?

Scared :/

Great ! Thanks

I would like to share what Jim replied to my question above:

The online tool for completing the DS-156 does not save any information, nor does it send any information to the consulate. What it does is use the Department of State's computer to generate a two-dimensional bar code on the finished form. This bar code contains all of the information you entered on the form in a format that can be easily scanned into the computers at the consulate.

In other words, you can make as many DS-156 forms as you like until you get it right. Once you get it right then you can bring THAT form to the consulate.

Hope this help others ..
