I don't know what to do

Alright, so I've been TELLING Daniel to get a prepaid card so he can pay for the visa delivery at the embassy as I've read it has to be done by Debit or Credit Card. However, he tells me today, that they take at least a week to get . . . well his interview is next thursday and I don't want him pushing it close. I dont know if he should call and ask if he can use his mums debit/credit card, or if he can do anything else. I don't want him to be delayed any longer than he has too, however his bank isn't great and he left them and didn't bother getting a new account as he was unable to work. Does anyone have any advice or any ideas? I found this sheet of paper:

Does that have anything to do with delivery or just the cost of the visa?? Thanks to anyone that can help me out. I've already gotten up set with him about it, as he always waits and he knows he shouldn't. The only place he hasn't tried is the Post Office, as he says ASDA and TEsco don't really have prepaid visa/mastercard there like we have here in the U.S

He could just buy a prepaid Visa gift card which can be used wherever Visa cards are accepted to pay for the visa delivery.

It says in the link you can just buy it in a department store, which is what I assume a high street store to mean. Here in the US you can buy them in Target and use right away. I think he was saying that applying for a credit or debit card takes a week through his bank.

Get him to look at these, most others are 7-10 days from my quick look -

http://www.payzonemoney.com/default.php?country=uk (looks like you get a temp card issued in store with perm one to follow in 7-10days)

There may be fees involved for these and for loading cash but if time is the issue then c'est la vie.

funny enough stu thats exactly what he did ! he got it at the post office today, to pay for his trip into london the fee for delivery, and then has a little extra for whatever he may need, possibly paying to put his stuff away in the pharmacy while he goes to his interview. but i'm so relieved, thank you !

I don't wish to question anyones relationship but are you sure about this guy?? He doesn't sound like he has his act together. No job, no bank account and cannot be botherd to get something sorted out in time for what should be the most important day of his life. just sounds like a huge red flag to me.

He hasn't been able to work because he broke his hand, it was an accident. He has everything else sorted. The reason he has no bank account is because his bank was taking money out, saying he overdrew when he never did ( i saw all of this happening) so he left them, and with that happening and us apply for the K1, he decided to just hold onto his money himself. I don't blame him for not being able to work, its not his fault he broke his hand, it was an accident. He didn't do this, because i think he believed it wouldn't take that long to get a card. I know he is serious about this relations, we have known each other for many years, and this year has been hard on the two of us. We just want to be together, and I find that you ARE questioning this relationship with your post and questions.

Setting a bank account up takes 15 minutes with a savings account where he could make interest on that money. Having all your cash just laying under your bed is not smart as like you say accidents can happen.

It can be hard sometimes to get a credit/debit card in UK if you don't have a bank account. It's easy in USA. Doubts,this guy is having doubts I guess. That really is cutting it close.
