yes, - you might take a gander at the content within the op, it has a great deal of it.

claims of extreme weather also left me disappointed when more hurricanes didn't materialize.

Lets hope the hurricanes stay away from where I live for years. I don't want to test if my business I built will withstand the wind force yet.whistling.gif

Yup, very unusual.

Let me tell you.

We used to get tons of hail, tornado warnings, etc.. during the 80's/90's.. and it's probably been about 10 years since we've seen "Extreme" weather here.

Kind of weird don't you think?

Outside of the "drought" conditions (which are normal for Texas in the past 1,000+ years) climate change has been pretty damn friendly to Texas!

We had Hurricane Irene to deal with last August. It caused a hundred year flood which devestated communities on the East Coast including my town. We are still rebuiliding with about 90% of the work completed. I hope I don't see another one for a hundred years

drought??

we've had enough rain this year that it's almost time to start building an ark. we are getting h2o faster than we can use it .... which is a good thing after last summer.

geez ... where did the sun go? we have night time ... then dark days with lots of rain soaked clouds ...

not that i'm complaining. bring on the rain ... until we get replenished.
