I am a us citizen and I have been living in Thailand for 2 years now.

I am now married to a Thai girl, and I filed the "I-130 DCF CR1" in Bangkok Thailand.

I am trying to figure out the "I-864 AOF" for the next part of the process.

Firstly, to file the DCF you have to show domicile in Thailand or other countries.

To file the I-864 AOS, you have to show domicile in America.

This is conflicting and prity confusing trying to decide which addresses to fill in.

Ok, so we need 2 I-864's

The petitioner (My self) - 1

The joint sponsor (My mother) - 1

For my mother, its all prity simple, no problems at all..

For my self, its very confusing as nothing really makes sence, since im living in Thailand (Not America) at this time..

1 example..

Part 5. Sponsor's household size.

21. Your Household Size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

-Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10. 1

-Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself. 1

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse.

d. If you have dependent children, enter the number here.

e. If you have any other dependents, enter the number here.

f. If you have sponsored any other persons on an I-864 or I-864 EZ who are now lawful permanent residents, enter the number here.

g. OPTIONAL: If you have siblings, parents, or adult children with the same principal residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting Form I-864A, enter the number here.

The thing is, the house hold size to be correct should include my mother and step father, as well all be living in the same house..

When my mom fills it out the household size would be 4, but when i fill it out its 2..

Any thoughts?

Actually your mother should put only 3, she should not count you as you are a USC and not getting sponsored. For yours you are correct you just put 2.

Don't think you will have issues with your address since you are using a co-sponsor.
