Canadian Thanksgiving Events in the U.S.

Canadians and friends of Canada are celebrating Thanksgiving with their friends and families throughout the United States. A list of scheduled events is below. Please note that some require registration and/or reservations. If you know of an event in your area and would like it displayed below, please send us a message with all of the details. Please note that all events appear in language submitted.

Come celebrate the beginning of the fall season with fellow Canadians and a traditional Thanksgiving buffet. Enjoy a lovely afternoon with 200 fellow Canadians at the Beverly Hills Country Club to celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving. A fine array of salads, garden vegetables, chef-carved meats, including of course, turkey and scrumptious desserts will be offered at the buffet. A Silent Auction with great Canadian and other items will also be presented.

Tickets: Members: $35; Non-members (guest of member): $50; Children 12 & under: $15. Please note that this is a members only event which sells out quickly because seating is limited. If you haven't joined Canadians Abroad, now's the time to do so if you wish to attend. Click here to join and register. Please read the registration elements carefully. There are specific instructions for both adding guests and joining as a family bringing children and guests. If you have any difficulties, please email webmaster@canadiansabroad.com . Absolutely no tickets available at the door. No refunds after tickets are purchased.

Flavors of Canada Thanksgiving Day Brunch

Come and celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving and experience a taste of uniquely Canadian cuisine. Award winning Chef Stewart Woodman, who grew up in Montreal, will prepare a selection of Canadian specialties with his own unique signature. The menu will include Maple Scented Tortiere, Split Pea Soup, Salmon Rilette, Cauliflower Salad, Poutine with Oka Cheese and Winter Truffle, Seafood, Tomato and Egg Brunch Dish.

The cost is $25 for adults; $10 for children under 12 and children under 5 eat free. You can make your reservation for October 8th by calling Restaurant Five at 612.827.5555. The Brunch is open to all so don't delay, make your reservation today.

If you are not going "home" for the holiday, this is the perfect time to enjoy some camradarie with friendly Canadian ex-pats. Please join your welcoming Canadian "family" away from home at this event. Everyone is asked to bring at least one dish from your culture/region of Canada to share.
