Hey,

Just bought tickets the other day to go see my wife's family in Russia. When I booked the ticket (without thinking) I booked the flight under my wife's married name on her Green Card, but her Russian passport still has her maiden name. Will this be a problem? Should we bring a copy of our marrige cert? Thanks in advance for any input.

Generally you want the plane ticket to match your passport. It does not matter if the green card has her married name, you can always show a copy of the marriage certificate when entering the US. Check with the airlines. FYI when she leaves the US she will need to show identification to board the plane, any ID will work, drivers license, Green card, etc. For entering Russia she has a Russian passport and no one is going to question that as she does not need to show anything else to enter Russia. Carry a copy of the marriage certificate and hopefully you have some government ID in the married name.
