hello everyone,

may Allah bless all of you who are helping me.

I was requested to send: DS230, medical examintaion, and police certificate, as well as passport.

however its been a week and half and when i emailed the Islamabad Embassy asking if they have recieved my papers or not this is what they replied:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have no record of receiving your documents. Please contact our office after 2-3 weeks in order to confirm about your passport / documents receipt.

I hope this information will be helpful to you.

...what does this mean 2-3 weeks for what? and does this mean they did not recieve it or is it not in their system yet??

@imissyou - i am hoping you sent everything via a courier?

AMEX?

If so - check with that courier - ensure they delivered your package to the correct place - enquire of a delivery confirmation and signature if they have it.

Then as stated in your email - wait 2 weeks from the email date and contact them again.

good luck - let us know how it works out.

but what could be the reason for it not to be recorded yet?

Usa American express mail the documents that day i gave it to them

They may not have gotten the documents yet.

They may not have opened the package of your documents yet

They may not have put the documents information into the system yet.

It could be any reason.

no problem.

Do yourself and everyone else a favor also - complete your info in your profile - what you have filed/where etc and then complete your timeline also.

It benefits everyone who is from your country (i have a vested interest as my wife is also in pakistan) and will allow everyone who is interested in pakistan posts to see your posts as they will be gathered in the pakistan portal.

Ask your questions when ever you have them - i am fairly new here - but been watching this site for some time and have found "most" people helpful - some will be very direct with you - they likely have heard the same question before - but its ok - you ask again - most people will answer again too! :)
