Update number two! He got the police check back so thankfully it didn't take long at all!! Now to mail! How long usually is the wait to see what the interview date is, and how soon are the actual interviews from the time you get the date??? Is it possible for him to be able to be back in America by the end of april?

For me it took about a week or so to get the interview letter from the time they received Packet 3, and it was another three weeks from the letter to the appointment. That was in September last year. It might pay to put in a note with the packet 3 asking for an earlier appointment if available (I did). It may not do anything, but I don't think it can hurt.

um im still waiting for my pkt 4, i sent out my pkt 3 over 2 weeks ago (on March 16th). I'm hoping to have the interview no later than April 20th cos I bought April 30th ticket.

Some people suggested me to call DoS, i will do that soon. Maybe they got an interview date booked for me but didn't send out the email pkt 4.

I emailed Sydney Consulate after Vanessa suggested so, this time they replied the next day, saying 'we usually send out pkt 4, within 30 days from receiving pkt 3'.

so i wait..............
