The thread should be titled: Foreign Oil Dependency Down to 45% from 57% in 2008 in spite of Obama

Anyone that knows anything about the oil business knows these projects are years in the making and were being formulated well before Obama.

Unfortunately the rotten fruit that will be born from Obama's fvcked up energy policies won't hit until well after he is kicked out in the 2012 election.

Which of his accomplishments doubled gas prices? Which caused the workforce participation to go from 63% to 61%? The lowest ever. Which one of these gems caused our credit rating to be lowered for the first time ever?

Shouldn't he be pushing a windfall profits tax for oil companies to fund heating assistance for poor people? He did that when he was a Senator. Shouldn't Henry Waxman be calling for congressional hearings and dragging the oil execs up there to investigate the gas price?

Shouldn't we be playing the campaign videos of 2008 showing candidate Obama blaming Bush for similar gas prices?
