Hello,

my wife is putting together the petition package and we have few questions.

The I-130 asks for beneficiery's current address and the G-325A asks for applicant's residence in the last 5 years.

I currently do not live in the city where I am registered and, instead, I rent an apparmtent in a different city where I do not have registration. Mind you, the residency registration is a BIGGY and people don't switch registration. Moreover, my registered address is the one stampted in my passport. Moreover, since I rent the appartment, it is likely that I may switch appartments in the future and hate to have the paperwork sent to the old address if I switch. I much rather receive mail in my registered address.

Would it be OK, if I put the address where I am registered on both forms instead of the address where I live currently?

thank you

Guys this is really important for me. FYI, I am the I-130 beneficiery.

Maybe members from former Soviet Union countries may be able to chime in. I have a permanent registration in my home town (Постоянная регистрация in Russian) but I currently live and work in a different town (fyi, you can only be registered in one address). Was anyone in similar situation as me? Which address did you put in G-325A and what address did your spouse put in I-130? I am afraid that if I move to a different apartment in the town where I work, I may not receive any mail that may be sent to me in relation to the petition.
