PLEASE NEED TO KNOW PROCESS - IR2 VISA

Hi there guys,

My step father has just sent off the I-30 petition today. I would really appreciate hearing from others who have gone through the whole IR-2 experience. Information of the process from sending away the petition to receiving the visa would be fantastic! He has sent it through the Vermont service centre and I am in Australia. I am also turning 21 on the 30th of april this year but we have been assured that my age will freeze under the CSPA as soon as the petition is received which should be within a week or 2.

I was 17 so yes they married before i was 18

why did he wait so long, you should have gotten your GC a long time ago, yes your age should freeze, as long as uscis gets it and starts processing it before you turn 21.
