my nvc emails came with barcodes in them, both for the agent form and for the payment form, i see these directions below and i don't get why this has to be done...any adivce?

DS-3032 barcode instructions

Go to web site idautomation[1].

Type in the case number under "Data to encode."

Under "Barcode symbology," select CODE 39.

Select "No" for "Add check digit"

Select "No" for "Add check digit to text"

Select "YES" for "Show text below barcode."

Change the "X dimension" (bar width) to 0.05

Change the "Barcode bar height" to 0.5.

Click on "Create Barcode."

Print out the result from the resulting pop-up window, cut out the barcode and case number below it, and paste it in the horizontal box on the DS-3032.

5/09/2014 - NO1 (One Year Extension Letter) Received

5/15/2014 - Bio letter received

6/05/2014 - Bio appointment date - COMPLETED

11/14/2014 - RFE Received

01/09/2015 - Response to RFE with 70 pages of proof :)

01/26/2015 - APPROVED FINALLY!!!!

02/11/2015 - 10 Year Card IN HAND! Woohoooooooooooooooooooooooo

You can ignore that stuff. That was a process to speed things up when payments were done by postal mail, and not online on the payment portal.

You can simply email the DS-3032 now following the template here on VJ.
