I'll start...

There's nothing like a good cup of coffee.

And nothing like a weird commercial.

Have you seen the new skittles singing rabbit commercial? How bizarre. Yet I can't keep from laughing everytime I see it. If you need to brighten or weirden your day, watch that commercial. You can find it on youtube.

Also there's nothing like being able to wear a cute scarf and gloves in the fall/winter. Darn you Florida!!!

never seen them commercials you mentioned though. we have a dvr so when we watch tv we skip the commercials.

in the mean time, i took a walk around campus. nice day for a walk. sure helped a lot. i like walks.

Time to start making fall coffee.

In the fall I sometimes add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg to the grounds before I brew a pot. Gives the coffee a warm flavor.

Also what's good to have at this time of year is good smelling candles. I love walking in to a house that smells like a delicious candle. Like sugar cookie, cinnamon, baked apples, mocha, and pumpkin spice scents. *snifff*

yum. Something my husband and I do is make cardamon spiced coffee. To the coffee grounds in the drip through pot we add a tablespoon of cardamon pods and a teaspoon of cloves which we run through the coffee mill first. Wonderful taste, especially on a cool morning:-).

i bought me wife something like that this weekend. she liked it a lot.

oh, i see, it must be ground to the same degree that the coffe beans are. right? otehrwise it just all falls thrugh. or is that what you want anyways?

Some people may already know this, but for the Indian tea, you boil milk and water in a sauce pan on the stove and after it gets heated you add sugar. Then we add ginger and the dry tea leaves. Then after it boils and gets dark enough, we drain it into cups to remove the leaves and ginger. I used to think it wasn't so good tasting with the ginger, but now I really like it. It's soothing.

I also just lit a hazlenut cream candle to make the house smell good.

I wish it was colder outside!! It's hot out.

nahh! Cali is just going to fall off of the US one of these days because of an earthquake. And Florida will be under water in 50 years. So I have to go to Alabama, remember?
