anytime i am just sick and tired of the embassy in DR trying to keep families apart without no proof and making our lives miserable because they have the upper hand but i hope that Obama does get the immigration law passed to keep families together because this is crazy, even a murderer is able to prove his innocence until proven guilty by the court of law, so we should have the right to prove our reelationship.....and not give up without a fight:)

Just wanted to advised all on something i didnt even know until i was denied.....if u are denied u have the right to appeal the same day at window 26 or 27 before ur case is sent back to uscis for them to reconsidered your case to be reopen, but you have to summit a letter stating everything on your interview there is a great lawyer by the name of Marisol Acosta that has an office 2 blocks from the embassy that will prepare a letter for you to take to the general consul. She did it for us the day after our interview and summited it via email and personally at the embassy and i have to say that the consul responded back via email to my lawyer in friday March 9 advising to her that he will review our case before it is sent back to uscis, so now i have hope. it cost me not even 120 dolares and its worth it. So to all upcoming interviews there is hope if u get denied and there are options, so make sure u visit her office before coming back to NY its worth a try.......:)

Wow, this is GREAT info! I want to go EXTREMELY prepared, as I will only have less then 4-5 days of vacation to take from my jobs when my Fiance gets her interview, which should be some time around May. We do have a daughter together (1.9 yrs old) but we aren't married, so we will probably require a dna test. The interview for my daughter's CRBA is this month on the 29th! So I hope we get a good CO...

• Mar 19, 2012 - NVC recieved my case.

• Mar 20, 2012 - NVC fowarded my case to US embassy in DR.

• April 05, 2012 - DOS gave us our interview date. (May 14th)
