Hi!

I got an email notification that I'm getting a RFE :(

I'm working with a very good lawyer (I know a lot of people who worked with him in the past and they never had problems)

My case was approved for expedited process because of my husband's deployment and according to the officer, they were about to schedule my interview. THEN the RFE happened. I don't know what to think. This is a good or a terrible sign? Thank you!

 

12-2011 We got Married!

2/3/2012 AOS Package sent (I-130, I-485, I-765)

2/6/2011 I-130,I485 and I-765 received at USCIS

2/10/2012 I-130,I485,I-765 Touched

2/16/2012 NOA 1 Received(I-130, I-485, I-765)

2/17/2012 Biometrics Letter(Original App. date: 03/05/12)

2/17/2012 Biometrics Walk in

3/09/2012 I-485 Touched

3/09/2012 Text Message/email received for RFE - I485 :(

3/19/2012 RFE hard copy received

3/20/2012 Replied RFE

3/26/2012 RFE Response Review

4/10/2012 EAD card in Production!

4/13/2012 NEW Interview date - April 30th!!!!!

4/30/2012 APPROVED ON THE SPOT!!!

4/30/2012 Passport stamped(I-551)

5/7/2012   Green card Received!

1/12/2018 N-400 Sent~

Little word of advice, make sure that you check with you lawyer frequently because he will probably get the hard copy. That's what happened with me. Mine lives in another town, so its a good thing I notified him right away. The faster you turn it in, the faster you get approved. At least that is what I had hoped. Good luck

04/09/15-Mailed ROC

04/10/2015-Package received

04/14/2015-Check cashed

06/02/2015-Called Service Center (still no NOA1) Service request found out wrong address on paperwork! :(

06/03/2015-Called to get address updated Ar11 online add change didnt work-got infopass for June 10th

06/10/2015-Went to info pass appt. Hubby got a 1yr. Extension stamp in his passport and biometrics done

08/12/2015-ROC Approved. Got letter in the mail.

08/29/2015-received new card in the mail.
