Do they test fot drugs at medical exam? I know its not agood question to ask but if there is no history of drug abusedo they only test for diseases??? Pleaesee!!!

Most panel physicians do not test for drugs, though there's nothing legally preventing them from doing so. They do draw blood to test for syphilis, and they could conduct a drug test on the blood sample if they chose to, but it's not likely they'd do that because the fees to pay for the test aren't included in the price you pay for the medical exam. I can't imagine a panel physician assuming the cost to pay for a test they aren't legally required to perform.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Not routinely, no. The panel physician would have to request it as an additional test, and they wouldn't do it without reasonable doubts.

CR1 Visa

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

If I remember correctly, there is a form to fill out with your medical history, and one of the "yes or no" questions is "have you ever abused drugs", or something to that effect. You will need to hand that form to the panel physician.

Answer any q's truthfully. The question is to help assess behavioral risk to certain infections. A drug user (crack, meth etc) is more likely to contract HIV, HPV etc. It helps them recommend what shots you should be given.

It's not their job to give vaccinations to prevent HIV (does it even exist?). It certainly helps them exclude drug users/abusers.
