If there is no white slip of paper in her passport, then you need to go back to CBP and get one.

is there any payment for a new I-94

You don't want to file form I-102 to replace ($330.00) your wife's I-94, if she did not get one, go to any POE or CBP inspection office to get one.

S he just needs to go to the "deferred inspection web site site",and find the nearest location to get the I-94 ok, and she will be able to get the I-94 . Take with her the passport of course.

Hullo Hullo to all - Happy Sunday ..

To the OP - the above - is the EXACT thing to do. If the clerk at the desk seems confused, ask for a supervisor - tell the fella that the I-94 was never issued at the border for flight # so and so at XYZ airport. Don't leave till she has an I-94 stapled in her passport.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
