hello all, im green card holder.im going to fill i_130 for my children they are all unmarried,3 live in pakistan and one is just move to south africa so which address should i use for my son pakistani address or south africa address,please any idea?

you have to file an i130 for each one of them, so you write their own address on each i130. how old are they? and they must stay unmarried unless you beocme a USC.

thanks for reply 3 are under 21 and one is 22,and for 22 my son is in south africa just move dosent have permanent address so if i use pakistani address so after all the waitng time can we change the adress

im not sure which address should i use,if i use pakistan address so can he come there for interview and if will not aprove for interview can he go back to southafrica?

you can put the same address for your son, it will take over 8 years of waiting so who knows where he will be, as long as thers is someone at the Pakistani address.

the others, how old are they? because if they are close to 21, they may change category. for unmarried children under 21 the wait is over 2 years, close to 3.

For the children under 21, Use the same I-130 for both of them and the same Pakistani permanent address.

For the child over 21, use another I-130 and I would recommend using the Pakistani address unless he has a permanent address in South Africa.

Our I130 got approved on February 27th 2012. We are confused about a few things, can someone please guide us?

1. Who should mail the Form DS 230, petetioner or the applicant? and where should it be mailed: to the Islamabad embassy or NVC address?

2. For AOS form, should we wait till the petetioner files the taxes for the year 2011 or it will be ok to send tax returns for 2008, 2009 and 2010 in addition to W2 forms for the year 2009, 2010 and 2011?

3. Do we need to send all original documents with form DS 230. I am referring to the Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, Passport, National ID card, Police report, etc or attested copies will work?

4. After mailing the DS 230 and AOS, what are the next steps and how longs will it take for the applicant to receive an interview call?

The Applicant... or you can fill it from someone else too i did it from my Lawyer..

u have to send it to Islamabad Embassy

They Ask for ur orginial Documents !! not attested copies.. make sure u make copies of Every single paper u send them out...

4. After mailing the DS 230 and AOS, what are the next steps and how longs will it take for the applicant to receive an interview call?

Um... i dont know about ur case but it took like 2-3 weeks to get my Interview Call at Islamabad Embassy

its gonna b current in 2-3 years i believe hmmmm

like my PD is july 5,2009..

and they are processing my case now ..

they cant process ur case till ur PD gets current !

1. It has to be sent via AMEX courier service to the Islamabad Embassy. Applicant has to bring the packet there.

2. Send copies of the 3-year tax returns and W-2 for 2011.. Make sure you have 2011 tax return available at the time of interview (you can make a note of that in your packet).

3. Have all the originals available. But I will not recommend sending them with the form as the embassy could lose them. Send copies and make a note (on the cover letter may be) that You will have originals available at the time of interview.

4. They say they will contact within 2-3 weeks. It shouldn't take more than a month.

Are you a citizen? Are you sure it says June 27th, 2012? and not 2011?

June 7, 2011 are being processed right now. It shouldn't be long for you. (Unless you are not a citizen but a LPR)

Yes, I am a Citizen. On I-797 Notice of Action it says:

RECEIPT DATE: June 27, 2011 PRIORITY DATE: June 27, 2012. NOTICE TYPE: Approval Notice. Section: Husband or wife of US Citizen, 201 (b) INA.

Yes, it says 2012...is this good or bad thing?

And what is 201 (b) INA?
