Seems we have different experiences. Long time pinoys i have met were kind of show offs esp the older people. Still couldnt shake in my head the old lady commenting that theyve been hear longer than us. What a weird "welcome mat". Hahaha

Actually the experiences are similar. Her comment was "weird" and unnecessary.

Usually i get the "do you like it here?" response...then came along that hag. Lol

She was even inviting my korean boss to a big party at her home. She was repeating that there'll be lots of people as if its some kind of kids party. Lol

Otoh, i like the pinay who prepares our tax documents. Very helpful and does not throw unnecessary comments.
