Hello,

I'm a little confused with Part 5 (#21) of the I-864, Affidavit of Support Form.

A: it says, "Enter the number you entered on line 10." I entered '1' as that was what I entered on Part 10 (carried over from Part 8). This is for my wife, who I am sponsoring.

B: "Yourself." Automatically entered '1' for myself.

C: "If you are currently married, enter '1' for your spouse." I entered '1.'

This is where I'm confused and think I made a mistake. On letter 'H,' it tells me to add all the lines together for the Household Size. The lines added would give me '3', but my Household Size is '2.'

Is my mistake on Line 10 from Part 3? Am I supposed to leave that at '0?' Or do I enter '2' for the Household Size as it also states 'Do not count anyone twice.'???

In A enter 1 and in C leave it blank. This is why your getting an extra one.

The directions also say, do not count anyone twice. You're counting your wife twice.
